Likino bus plant of GAZ Group has delivered 100 city low-floor large-class buses LIAZ-5292 to Nizhny Novgorod. The length of each bus is 12 m, the passenger capacity - 108 people. The large-class LIAZ-5292 bus is designed to work on routes with intense passenger flows and is the most popular model with a high passenger capacity for renovating the bus fleets in major cities of the country. For instance, the Moscow fleet operates about 4 000 low-floor LIAZ-5292 buses.
The vehicles feature an automatic transmission, ABS system, power steering hydraulic boosters. The buses are fitted with anti-vandal seats with the fabriq trimming resistant to wear and tear. The buses also have a set of three route displays and a compartment display panel, CCTV systems with cameras in vandal-proof housings, kneeling systems (body inclination) for easy entry and exit of passengers, loading ramps and GLONASS equipment. The guarantee period is 18 months or 150 000 km.
The buses delivered to Nizhny Novgorod are powered by YAMZ CNG engines with 286 h.p. of ecological standard Euro-5. This is not the first delivery of LIAZ CNG buses to Nizhny Novgorod. In 2015, within the program of fleet renovation, the city bought 144 buses of LIAZ-5256 and 5293 CNG models.
This year, GAZ Group has delivered 50 LIAZ-5295 diesel buses and 50 PAZ-320414 buses.
