Mobile Quantorium in Serbia, an international educational project, arranged by GAZ Group as a rally of GAZelle NEXT-based mobile tech centers, is now over. The journey started at Gorky Automobile Plant in Nizhny Novgorod with two mobile tech centers set off for Serbia and Republika Srpska to hold classes on Science, Engineering and Technology. The final master classes were on 12 and 13 January in Banja Luka in Republika Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
The mobile tech centers built on GAZelle NEXT vans have now completed their international journey. The projected is supported by Nizhny Novgorod Regional Government, Russky Dom in Belgrade, the Russian Center of Science and Culture, and GAZ official dealers in Serbia (INTERAUTO) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (LADA AUTO). There were master classes held from 17 December 2019 to 13 January 2020 in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Ruma, Šabac, Aleksinac in Serbia and in Banja Luka, the administrative center of Republika Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina) for children of any age where they had a chance to study virtual reality (VR), robotic technologies and industrial design. During the journey the mobile tech center team visited 7 educational facilities in Serbia and Republika Srpska and held about 30 master classes with over 800 participants.
Quantorium Mobile Tech Center is a mobile educational center packed with hi-tech equipment and based on GAZelle NEXT frame bus. GAZelle NEXT features a spacious cab with good visibility, an adequate steering feedback, and an ergonomic driver seat. An independent front suspension and a reinforced rear suspension with an anti-roll bar deliver an extremely smooth ride. A powerful diesel engine (149 HP) ensures excellent traction and dynamic performance.
